Note: Gradations are only applicable with the inner tube installed and are not designed for precise measurment. Outer tube is not intended for standalone use, unless used for measuring snow water equivalent or accumulated precipitation with a scale.

    Have two, I rotate them during winter snow events. The complete TROPO gauge system is outstanding. It is a scientific instrument.
