The Climalytic Snow Stake (5-foot)
Commissioned for use at official National Weather Service (NWS) offices, the Climalytic Snow Stake is designed to meet the required NOAA specifications. This snow measurement stake makes it easy to reliably obtain consistent and accurate snow depth measurements at a resolution of 1-inch. The rigid, rust-proof and weather-resistant aluminum pole is powder coated twice; once with an outdoor rated white color, then again with a clear polyester powder coating.
The snow stake is anchored into the ground with a 42-inch-long galvanized steel V-spike, powder coated in black. All of the hardware is S316 marine grade stainless steel, which significantly enhances resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and rusting caused by extreme weather and moisture.
The Climalytic Snow Stake is the most premium option on the market for those looking for a professional-grade snow depth measurement instrument that makes no compromises in quality. There are two sizes to choose from, the 5-foot (this product), or the 10-foot. The 10-foot snow stake includes a 24-inch solid aluminum joiner bar for attaching two 5-foot segments together.
