The Climalytic Snow Board
Based on the design and required specifications of the official NOAA snow (measurement) board, used by COOP observers, the Climalytic Snow Board makes it easy to measure snowfall accurately, consistently and safely. The rugged, weather-proof, white expanded PVC material provides the perfect surface to measure fresh snowfall depth. The snow board's portable and light-weight design makes it simple to re-position atop the snowpack, or to move to a new observation location. A 3-foot tall snow stake, featuring a 360-degree reflective band, allows for the easy identification of the snow board's location, even when covered in snow or in the dark. The snow stake also conveniently anchors the snow board to the ground. The included snow scraper can be used to clear snow off the board, or to assist in making snow core samples.
